I haven’t heard of Benidorm before, so I have no preconceived notions. From what you’ve shown us, it looks like a fun place to relax. My teens are also reluctant travelers, but even they have fun at a waterpark. I’d love to rent an e-bike sometime as I’ve never tried one before.

Always interesting to read about places that you have certain expectations about that end up being different once you dig deeper. Sierra Helada looks like it has a beautiful viewpoint and it’s great you found other activities for teenagers. I was intrigued to read that Benidorm is rebranding itself, which is smart to expand beyond people’s experiences of you as a beach town. I’m curious to see how it will change.

Yes! Being British and a travel blogger, I have avoided Benidorm like the plague and we fear, in Greece, that the Athens Riviera will be developed in a similar vein. It’s so nice you got to experience the alternative side of Benidorm and thanks for sharing that with us all.
I might have to review my opinions.
