Just found your blog. I just moved to Groningen 6 months ago and have yet to go to that Starbucks….now I can’t wait! I really like the Starbucks at the University Library in Groningen too! I meet there for Bible study every Friday. The people are so nice and since Starbucks vowed to hire 10,000 refugees in American I love giving them my support!

This is an incredibly impressive Starbucks! I’m not a huge fan of the chain either since I feel it lacks authenticity, but I do like seeing what each store has to offer in different countries and grabbing a You Are Here Mug for my sister.

I’ve actually been wondering if this is the most fancy Starbucks in the world for about a year now (since moving to Groningen). It’s nice to see validation of my opinion that it is on the internet. Thank you!

Hi Rachel. I love Starbucks as I love full-bodied coffee. As you say, they also make great baked goods. I’ve been to some pretty nice Starbucks, most notably in Dubai. They seem to have one on every corner there, and some of them are beautifully done.
